QC Manager (Experience:4+ Years, Location:Bangalore)
Responsibilities
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials and finished products.
Inspect PP tapes, fabric, laminated fabric, liners, webbing, threads, and other packaging components.
Monitor production processes including cutting, stitching, printing, lamination, punching, fitting, and packing.
Verify products against approved specifications, drawings, samples, and customer requirements.
Check critical parameters such as dimensions, GSM, fabric quality, stitching, SWL/SF requirements, weight, printing, permeability, and workmanship.
Maintain and update QC inspection reports, checklists, test reports, and quality records.
Identify non-conformities and coordinate with the production team for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring quality issues and recommend process improvements.
Ensure proper calibration and use of QC testing equipment and measuring instruments.
Carry out routine quality checks during production and ensure quality standards are maintained batch-wise.
Coordinate with customers, third-party inspectors, and testing laboratories when required.
Support pre-dispatch inspections and ensure products are released only after meeting required specifications.
Maintain documentation for customer audits, vendor evaluations, ISO requirements, and quality systems.
Work closely with production and procurement teams to improve quality, consistency, and reduce rejection/wastage.
